Ground Arrival

From the North, take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway I-495 (south to Alexandria). Follow I-495 to the southern side of Washington and exit on I-95 South to Richmond. Take Exit 169A Franconia Road, 644E. Turn right at the first stoplight, then turn right into the Hilton hotel parking lot or continue to the next light and turn right at Loisdale Court and then turn left in the Comfort Inn. From the SOUTH, take I-95 North to exit 169A Franconia Road, 644E. Take the first left at the stoplight on Loisdale Road. Take the next left onto Loisdale Court and then turn right into the Hilton or left into the Comfort Inn. From the East, take 50 West to the Capital Beltway I-495 South toward Alexandria. From there follow the directions from the north above. From the West, take I-270 South to the Capital Beltway I495 South to Fairfax. Exit to I-95 South to Richmond. Immediately exit at 169A Franconia Road, 644E. See further directions above

Air Arrival - Reagan

If you arrive at Ronald Reagan National Airport, you can take "the Metro south" to the Springfield-Franconia station. The Comfort Inn hotel runs a shuttle from the Metro stop to the hotel from 0700-1900. Call the hotel desk from the Metro station at (703) 971-8900 to request pick- up. If you do not choose to take the Metro, a service called Super Shuttle is available from the airports. Advance reservations are not necessary. You can make return reservations 24 hours prior to flight time by calling 1-800-Blue Van (258-3826). You can call (703) 416-7884 locally four hours in advance. Be sure to have your flight information available when you call.

Air Arrival - Dulles

If you arrive at Dulles International Airport, you can take the Washington Flyer Taxicabs, the Washington Flyer Coach Service, or the SuperShuttle. Unfortunately, there's no metrorail stop at Dulles; the closest stop is the West Falls Church Station on the Orange Line.

Washington Flyer Coach Service

Purchase a one-way ticket at the Washington Flyer Coach ticket counter located at Arrivals Door #4 in the Main Terminal. Travelers will also board the Coach from this location. The buses depart approximately every 30 minutes but please listen for announcements for exact bus departure times. A $9 ticket will take you, non-stop, to the West Falls Church Station. From there, you can take a metro to the Springfield-Franconia Station, and then take a shuttle to the Comfort Inn.

Washington Flyer Taxi Service

You can take a metered taxi from Dulles to the Comfort Inn at an estimated cost of around $60. The taxis accept American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, Discover, and Visa. No reservation is required. Simply come to the "Taxi Passengers" area on the lower level of the Main Terminal, where a Taxicab Dispatcher is on duty 24 hours a day. Wheelchair-accessible minibuses can accommodate one person in his/her wheelchair plus three additional passengers. Smoking and non-smoking vehicles are available by request.

SuperShuttle

The 55 SuperShuttle stops are identified on the Ground Transportation level roadway outside the main terminal at Dulles, and they operate on demand. For information, call 1-800-BLUEVAN or go to www.supershuttle.com. They offer door-to-door service.
