Internal Security Services in Contemporary Europe
Dennis Töllborg
The biggest problem in analyzing security services in any country is a lack of real information. When documents are declassified they are generally only of interest to historians. These essays explore the touchy subject of security in Europe.
Dennis Töllborg, born 1953, juris doctor, is a full professor in legal science at Gothenburg Research Institute (GRI), University of Gothenburg. He has extensive writings in law, vetting, pro active policy and, to some extent, in intelligence. Töllborg's latest book in English is Democracy, Law and Security (Ashgate, ed. together with Brodeur and Gill). His lastest book in Swedish is Bli inte blåst! (Månpocket). His forth coming essay in english "Science as trademark" will appear in The Swedish Royal Acaemy in Science. Töllborg also practices law, including cases involving vetting and secret files at the European Court of Human Rights. His latest such case was Segerstedt-Wiberg et al verses Sweden 2006.
